The Professional Voice (TPV) is Sacramento’s most sought after voice studio for people who demand results. Being accredited with over 20 years of vocal training experience, working with aspiring singers, recording artists, Broadway performers, and having over 30 years of performing experience including Broadway, rock bands, church performances, and being a studio musician, TPV is able to provide you with all the experience needed to only benefit you.
Meet the team!
CEO and Founder
Kyle started The Professional Voice in 2005 with the hopes of bringing upscale and professional talent to the Sacramento area. He has worked with top talent around the world, including signed touring artists, YouTube artists, Broadway performers, rock bands, and worship leaders in many large churches nationally. He opened the first TPV storefront in 2013 and it quickly became one of the KCRA A-List Top 5 Music Instruction studios in Sacramento. Kyle is also a board member with Vocology in Practice, a community of top vocal technicians, ENT’s, the foremost vocologists in the world. Kyle is also a performer and artist himself and was the lead in Billy Joel’s Broadway smash, “Movin’ Out” from 2007-2009.
Ashley has been with The Professional Voice for 6 years. She is currently majoring in music and facilitates studio events.
Emily Mankarios has a music degree from William Jessup University where she concentrated in Vocal Performance and sang in their award winning groups: the University Choir & Orchestra and Crossroads ensemble. She has sung on a number of studio recordings and leads worship at churches, conferences, and retreats. She has been teaching and coaching voice for the past 6 years, and is thrilled to be a part of The Professional Voice team.
Jessica Baio has been singing and began voice training at the age of 10. She also plays both piano and guitar. Over the years Jessica has grown a following of over 50k YouTube subscribers and has a video with over 5.5 million views. She is working on original music to release in be near future. She has had experience auditioning for TV shows such as American Idol, The Voice, and AGT. Jessica has had a lot of involvement performing locally and hopes to start performing more often. She is absolutely thrilled to be teaching voice lessons at The Professional Voice.
Sophia Miller has been teaching voice and guitar lessons for about two and a half years now and absolutely loves it and her students! She is also a professional musician outside of teaching and have performed over both locally and out of state with major touring acts. She is excited to teach voice and guitar at The Professional Voice!
Brittany Cody is a vocal and piano teacher at The Professional Voice. She has a music degree from William Jessup University with an emphasis on voice, vocal and stage performance and worship. She participated in their University Choir and Orchestra and has toured around California and Oregon singing at several churches and outreach events. She is a worship leader for her home church and also performs at other churches in the area. She is looking forward to working with you at The Professional Voice!
Kayla is a certified teacher with TPV, having been a long time student at TPV as well. She is very experienced in working with pop and rock singers and currently studies music at the university level.
Ryan De Boer
Ryan has a bachelor of music degree in Vocal Performance and a Master of music degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy. He began teaching as an undergraduate. A promising young teacher, Ryan was awarded a graduate assistantship at Penn State University to study pedagogy. At Penn State, Ryan managed a private studio of undergraduate voice students and taught collegiate voice classes for music majors. Ryan also loves performing; his favorite roles have been Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, and Fabrizio Nacarelli in The Light in the Piazza.
Courtney has been involved with music from a very young age and her passion for it continues to grow more and more. She has led worship at her local church for 13 years—either with a guitar, keyboard or just vocals—and has plenty of experience performing on stage. She also has written her own original songs and looks forward to focusing on this skill more. Courtney has been with the TPV family as a vocal instructor in the past and is more than excited to be back teaching again. Her desire is to help each student find their own original style while developing confidence in themselves and their voice. She also wants to help them set and reach new heights as they discover more of the artist they want to be. She can’t wait to meet you and start working with you!
Justine is very excited to be working at the Professional Voice and teach the art of singing. She has been singing since she was five and is a huge passion. She has sung in many choirs for church, school, and events. She is very experienced in musical theatre performance. She is a certified Junior Instructor with The Professional Voice. She enjoys working with others and getting to know them. She’s excited to be a part of the Professional Voice team!
Ben is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter, recently graduated with a degree in music from Sierra College. You can find Ben at local venues, events or collaborating in studio with other artist. He is excited to be a certified voice instructor and artist developer at The Professional Voice.
Cassidy Redfern has been singing as long she can remember. She has taken singing lessons since she was 10 years old and has performed throughout Northern California in an all girls pop group. Cassidy enjoys singing and teaching Pop, R&B, Country, along with many other genres of music and is the 2018 winner of the NorCal singing contest. Cassidy has had several years of choir experience and is currently a member of the award winning Colfax High School chamber choir which will be performing in Carnegie Hall in March of 2019. She also sings the national anthem at various events, is a Jr cheer coach and cheerleader with 5 years experience in choreography. Cassidy is thrilled to be teaching at TPV, while expanding her career, sharing her joy and passion of singing/music and helping others to do the same.
